Enhanced Security with MACsec

Empowering higher-speed encryption at 100GbE and 40GbE, the MACsec-enabled feature ensures swift and efficient traffic encryption within data centers, contributing to heightened security.

Packet Optical Integration for Advanced Connectivity

Elevating network capabilities, the integration of high availability and traffic engineering seamlessly merges with coherent dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM). This amalgamation forms a unified, multilayered Data Center Interconnect (DCI), enhancing overall connectivity.

Real-time Insight with Streaming Telemetry

Harness the power of Junos Telemetry Interface for real-time insights. Configure sensors to gather and export data from various system resources, including physical interfaces and firewall filters, fostering proactive network management.

Robust Network Buffering

The integration of a deep buffer with Hybrid Memory Cube technology ensures efficient absorption of potential spikes in network traffic, contributing to network stability and reduced latency.

Comprehensive Fabric Management with Apstra

Leverage Juniper’s Apstra solution, equipped with extensive Day 0/1/2 capabilities tailored for IP/EVPN fabrics. This inclusive fabric management solution streamlines deployment processes and ensures robust monitoring for sustained operational excellence.

Flexible Architectural Support

The QFX10000 series offers support for a range of architectures, including EVPN/VXLAN, IP Fabric, and multichassis link aggregation group (MC-LAG) for both Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks. This flexibility empowers rapid deployment and support for emerging services.

Precision Time Protocol for Time-sensitive Applications

Critical for applications like financial trading, the Precision Time Protocol feature supports precise time-stamping of packets, ensuring synchronization in time-sensitive operations.

The QFX10000 line of switches stands as a pinnacle in providing a highly scalable network foundation tailored for the rigors of contemporary data center and multicloud environments. Fueled by custom silicon Q5 ASICs, these high-performance QFX10000 Switches exhibit versatility, scaling seamlessly from 3 to 96 Tbps of throughput, ensuring ample capacity for long-term investment protection.

The QFX10008 and QFX10016 models specifically contribute to lowering Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), simplifying network deployments, and minimizing management overhead. With inherent architectural flexibility, these switches eliminate the risk of being tied to proprietary solutions, seamlessly operating in diverse network environments. Whether in EVPN/VXLAN, Layer 3 spine-and-leaf Clos network fabrics, or Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks with multichassis link aggregation group (MC-LAG), the QFX10000 series provides universal building blocks for adhering to industry-standard architectures. The integration of Juniper’s Apstra solution complements this series, offering comprehensive fabric management capabilities, featuring intent-driven automation for deployment and robust monitoring, ensuring operational assurance.
