Occupying a compact five rack units (5 U) and featuring the MPC10E line card, the MX240 provides up to 3 Tbps of system capacity, making it an ideal solution for environments with space constraints. It offers simultaneous support for high-density 10GbE, 40GbE, 100GbE, and 400GbE interfaces, as well as traditional SONET/SDH, ATM, and PDH connectivity. Additional capabilities include support for Flexible Ethernet (FlexE), advanced timing features, Junos fusion technology, and Juniper’s Virtual Chassis technology, contributing to streamlined network design and operation.
